Setting Up the Brother HL-1850 Printer
Step 1: Unboxing and Installing Toner

- Open the printer’s front cover and locate the jammed paper.
- Gently remove the paper, being careful not to tear it.
- Ensure the paper is correctly aligned and not folded or creased.
- Print quality issues:
- Check the toner level and replace the cartridge if low.
- Clean the printer heads by following the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Adjust the paper settings to match the type of paper being used.
- Network connection problems:
- Verify that the network cable is connected securely.
- Check the IP address configuration of the printer and computer.
- Restart the router or network switch.
