Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up the Brother HL-L2360D Series Printer
Unboxing and Assembly:
- Unpack the printer and remove all packaging materials.
- Place the printer on a stable surface near an electrical outlet.
- Open the front cover.
- Remove the toner cartridge from its packaging and insert it into the printer.
- Close the front cover.
Driver Installation:
- Connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable (not included).

- Select [Print Report] > [Print Test Page].
- The printer will print a test page.
Troubleshooting Common Issues:
Printer not powering on:
- Ensure that the printer is properly connected to a power outlet.
- Check the power cord for any damage.
- Try resetting the printer by unplugging it for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.
Poor print quality:
- Check if the toner cartridge is low or empty.
- Clean the inside of the printer, including the pickup rollers and transfer belt.
- Adjust the paper type setting in the printer driver to match the type of paper you are using.
Printer not connecting to the network:
- Ensure that the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the printer and the network.
- Check your network settings to ensure that the printer is on the same network as your computer.
- Reset the printer’s network settings by pressing [Menu] > [Network Settings] > [Reset Network Settings].
Paper jams:
- Open the paper tray and remove any jammed paper.
- Check the inside of the printer for any torn or stuck paper.
- Reload the paper and try printing again.
