Setting Up the Brother MW-145BT Wireless Headphones
Step 1: Pairing with Your Device
- Turn on the headphones by pressing and holding the Power button for 3 seconds.
- Activate Bluetooth on your device (phone, tablet, laptop).
- On your device, search for available Bluetooth devices.
- Select “Brother MW-145BT” from the list of devices.
Step 2: Charging the Headphones
- Plug the included USB cable into the charging port on the headphones.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall charger).
- The LED indicator will turn red while charging. When fully charged, it will turn blue.
Step 3: Using the Headphones
Powering On/Off:
* Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds to turn on.
* Press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds to turn off.
Adjusting Volume:
* Use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons on the side of the headphones.
Playing/Pausing Music:
* Press the Play/Pause button on the side of the headphones.
Skipping Tracks:
* Press the Fast Forward (>>) or Rewind (<<) buttons on the side of the headphones.
Answering/Ending Calls:
* Press the Play/Pause button to answer an incoming call.
* Press and hold the Play/Pause button for 2 seconds to end a call.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Headphones won’t turn on:
* Ensure the headphones are charged.
* Try resetting the headphones by pressing the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds.
Headphones won’t pair with my device:
* Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
* Disable Bluetooth on other nearby devices that may be interfering.
* Reset the headphones as described above.
No sound coming from headphones:
* Check that the volume is not set too low.
* Ensure the headphones are properly connected to your device via Bluetooth.
* Try restarting the headphones and your device.
Sound is distorted or muffled:
* Adjust the volume to a lower level.
* Move closer to the Bluetooth source to improve signal strength.
* Check for any obstructions or interference between the headphones and the Bluetooth source.
Battery won’t charge:
* Ensure you are using the correct charging cable.
* Try a different USB power source.
* Reset the headphones as described above.
