Setting Up the Brother PJ-762 Wireless Portable Printer
Step 1: Unpack and Assemble
- Remove the printer from the box and all protective packaging.
- Insert the two AA batteries (not included).
- Attach the paper tray by pressing it into place.
Step 2: Charge the Battery (Optional)
- Connect the AC adapter to the printer and a power outlet.

- Insert thermal paper into the paper tray.
- Make sure the paper is facing the correct way (printed side down).
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Printer Not Printing
- Check if the printer is turned on and the battery is charged.
- Make sure the paper is loaded correctly.
- Ensure that the print head is clean. Use a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol to gently clean it.
Wireless Connection Problems
- Ensure that the printer and your device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Restart the printer and your device.
- Check if the firewall on your device is blocking the connection.
Poor Print Quality
- Clean the print head as described above.
- Replace the thermal paper with new rolls.
- Adjust the print settings in the driver or on the printer itself.
Battery Drains Quickly
- Reduce the brightness of the display.
- Unplug the printer from the power outlet when not in use.
- Consider using rechargeable batteries.
Display Not Working
- Remove and reinsert the batteries.
- Reset the printer by pressing and holding the Wireless Connect button for 5 seconds.
