Setting Up the Canon PIXMA iX6540

Materials Required:

  • Canon PIXMA iX6540 printer
  • Power cord

Instructions:

1. Unpack and Install the Ink Cartridges

  • Unpack the printer and remove all packaging materials.

  • Open the paper tray and extend the paper support flap.

  • Load paper up to the limit indicated on the tray.
  • Close the paper tray.

3. Connect the Printer

  • Wireless Connection: Press the “Wi-Fi” button on the printer and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
  • USB Connection: Connect one end of the USB cable to the printer and the other end to an available USB port on your computer.

4. Install the Drivers

  • Insert the CD-ROM included with the printer into your computer’s drive.
  • Follow the on-screen prompts to install the printer drivers.
