Setting Up Your Canon PIXMA MG3520

Materials You’ll Need:

  • Canon PIXMA MG3520 printer
  • Power cord
  • USB cable (optional)
  • Ink cartridges (black and color)

Step 1: Unpack the Printer

  • Remove the printer from the box and remove all packaging materials.

  • Lift the rear paper support and pull out the paper tray.
  • Load up to 60 sheets of plain paper or 20 sheets of photo paper.
  • Adjust the paper guides to fit the paper size and slide the paper tray back into the printer.

Step 7: Print a Test Page

  • On your computer, open a document and select the Canon PIXMA MG3520 as the printer.
  • Click “Print” and observe the printed page.
  • If the test page prints successfully, the printer is properly set up.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Problem: Printer won’t turn on

  • Check that the power cord is securely connected.
  • Make sure the power outlet is working.

Problem: Cartridge not recognized

  • Remove the cartridge and reinsert it, making sure it clicks into place.
