Unboxing and Setup

  1. Remove the printer from the box. Keep it upright to avoid ink spillage.
  2. Open the battery compartment. Insert the included battery or use the optional AC adapter.
  3. Attach the output tray.
  4. Insert the ink cassette. Push it firmly until it clicks into place.
  5. Insert the paper cassette. The paper should be facing up, with the glossy side facing down.

  1. Download the Canon SELPHY Photo Layout app. This app will allow you to print photos directly from your smartphone or tablet.
  2. Connect your mobile device to the printer’s Wi-Fi network. The network name and password will be printed on a sticker on the bottom of the printer.
  3. Launch the SELPHY Photo Layout app and select your printer.

Printing from a Mobile Device

  1. Select the photos you want to print.
  2. Edit the photos (optional). You can crop, rotate, or apply filters to your photos.
  3. Tap the “Print” button.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Printer won’t turn on:
* Check if the battery is inserted correctly or the AC adapter is connected.

Paper won’t feed:
