Unboxing and Initial Setup

Printer won’t turn on:

  • Check that the power cord is securely plugged into both the printer and the power outlet.
  • Ensure that the printer’s paper tray is closed properly.

Printing issues:

  • Blurred or faint prints: Ensure that you are using original Canon ink and paper. Check that the print head nozzles are clean.
  • Paper jams: Open the printer’s lid and gently remove any jammed paper. Check for any obstructions in the paper path.
  • Incorrect size prints: Verify that the print size selected in the SELPHY Photo Layout app matches the paper size loaded in the cassette.

Connectivity issues:

  • Can’t connect to Wi-Fi: Make sure that the printer is within range of your router. Reset the printer’s Wi-Fi settings and reconnect to your network.
  • Can’t connect via Bluetooth: Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or tablet. Restart the printer and try connecting again.

  • Printer is noisy: The printer may make slight noises during operation. If the noise is excessive, contact Canon support.
  • Printer is overheating: Unplug the printer and allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes before using it again.
