Unboxing and Setup

  1. Unpack the printer: Remove the printer from the box and discard all packing materials.
  2. Remove tape: Carefully remove all pieces of tape from the printer.
  3. Connect the power cord: Plug the power cord into the back of the printer and a power outlet.
  4. Turn on the printer: Press the power button on the front of the printer.
  5. Select the language: Use the control panel to select the desired display language.
  6. Ink cartridge installation: Open the ink cartridge cover and carefully remove the protective caps from the cartridges. Insert each cartridge into the corresponding slot and press down lightly until it clicks into place.
  7. Paper loading: Lift the paper cassette lever and place the paper into the cassette with the printable side facing up. Adjust the paper guides to match the paper size.
  8. Align the print head: The printer will automatically align the print head. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the alignment process.

Software Installation

  1. Download the driver: Visit the Epson support website and download the latest driver for your printer model and operating system.
  2. Run the installation wizard: Double-click on the downloaded driver file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
