Unboxing and Setup
- Unpack the printer: Remove the printer from the box and discard all packing materials.
- Remove tape: Carefully remove all pieces of tape from the printer.
- Connect the power cord: Plug the power cord into the back of the printer and a power outlet.
- Turn on the printer: Press the power button on the front of the printer.
- Select the language: Use the control panel to select the desired display language.
- Ink cartridge installation: Open the ink cartridge cover and carefully remove the protective caps from the cartridges. Insert each cartridge into the corresponding slot and press down lightly until it clicks into place.
- Paper loading: Lift the paper cassette lever and place the paper into the cassette with the printable side facing up. Adjust the paper guides to match the paper size.
- Align the print head: The printer will automatically align the print head. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the alignment process.
Software Installation
- Download the driver: Visit the Epson support website and download the latest driver for your printer model and operating system.
- Run the installation wizard: Double-click on the downloaded driver file and follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
- Connect the printer: Once the software is installed, connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
