Epson EP-901A Setup Guide

Unboxing and Setup

Materials Required:

  • Epson EP-901A printer
  • Ink cartridges (6)
  • Power cord
  • USB cable (if using wired connection)

Steps:

  1. Remove the printer from the box and place it on a stable surface.
  2. Remove all protective materials and open the front cover.
  3. Install the ink cartridges into their designated slots.
  4. Fill the ink tanks with ink from the included bottles.
  5. Close the front cover and turn on the printer using the power button.

Wireless Setup

Option 1: WPS Setup

  1. Press the WPS button on your router.
  2. Within 2 minutes, press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer for 3 seconds.
  3. The printer will automatically connect to the network.

Option 2: Manual Setup

  1. On the printer control panel, go to the “Wi-Fi Setup” menu.
  2. Select “New Connection” and enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID).
  3. Enter your Wi-Fi password.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Wired Setup

  1. Connect one end of the USB cable to the printer’s USB port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Printer Not Printing:

  • Check that the printer is turned on and connected to power.
