1. Unboxing and Initial Setup

Unbox the printer: Remove all packaging and contents, including the printer, ink cartridges, power cord, and setup documents.

Set the paper type: Use the control panel to select the correct paper type and size.

4. Software Installation

Connect the printer to your computer: Use a USB cable or Wi-Fi connection to establish a connection between the printer and your computer.
Insert the CD or download the software: If using a CD, insert it into your computer’s optical drive. Otherwise, download the printer software from Epson’s website.
Follow the installation instructions: The setup wizard will guide you through the installation process.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

1. Printer Not Printing

Check if the printer is turned on and the power cord is securely connected.
Make sure there is paper loaded in the tray and the paper size and type are correct.
Clean any clogged ink nozzles by running the nozzle check and cleaning utility.
Reset the printer by unplugging it for a few minutes and then plugging it back in.

2. Ink Smudging or Streaking

Replace the ink cartridges that are causing the smudging or streaking.
Clean the print head by following the instructions in the printer’s manual.
Use high-quality paper that is appropriate for your printer model.

3. Paper Jams

Gently pull the jammed paper straight out of the printer.
Open the rear tray and remove any loose paper.
Reset the printer by unplugging it for a few minutes and then plugging it back in.

4. Wi-Fi Connection Issues

Make sure the Wi-Fi network is working properly and your computer or mobile device is connected to it.
Check if the printer is within range of the Wi-Fi router.
