Epson ET-1110 Series Setup Guide

Materials Required:

  • Epson ET-1110 printer
  • Ink bottles
  • Power cord
  • USB cable (optional)

Step 1: Unpack and Install the Printer

  1. Unpack the printer and remove all packaging materials.
  2. Remove the orange tape from the printhead cover.
  3. Open the printer’s front cover.
  4. Remove the foam protector from the printhead holder.
  5. Insert the printhead into the holder and close the cover.

Step 2: Install the Ink Tanks

  1. Open the ink tank covers on the front of the printer.
  2. Remove the plugs from the ink bottles.
  3. Align the colored dot on each bottle with the corresponding dot on the printer.
  4. Insert the bottles into the ink tanks and press down firmly until they click into place.
  5. Close the ink tank covers.

Step 3: Load Paper

  1. Open the rear paper tray.
  2. Slide the paper guide to match the paper size being used.
  3. Load the paper into the tray and adjust the guide to fit snugly.
  4. Close the paper tray.

Step 4: Connect the Printer

  1. Wired Connection (USB): Connect the USB cable to the printer’s USB port and your computer’s USB port.
  2. Wireless Connection (Wi-Fi): Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Step 5: Install Printer Drivers

  1. Insert the included CD-ROM into your computer.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer drivers and software.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Problem: Printer not printing

Possible Causes and Solutions:

  • Check if the printer is turned on and connected properly.
  • Ensure there is enough ink in the tanks.
  • Check if the paper is loaded correctly.
  • Restart the printer.
