How to Set Up the Epson L120 Printer

Materials:

  • Epson L120 printer
  • Ink bottles (black, cyan, magenta, yellow)
  • Power cable
  • USB cable (for wired connection)
  • Ethernet cable (for wireless connection, optional)

Step 1: Unpack and Install the Printer

  1. Remove the printer from the box and remove all packing materials.
  2. Lift the scanner lid and remove the protective blue tape.

  1. Print a test page from the printer’s control panel.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Printer Not Printing

  • Check that the printer is turned on and connected to your computer.
  • Verify that the ink tanks are full.
  • Check if the print head is clogged. Clean it using the supplied cleaning cartridge.
  • Ensure that the paper size and type are set correctly in the printer software.

Print Quality Issues

  • Check for smudges or streaks on the printed page. This could indicate a clogged print head or low ink levels.

Connection Problems

Ink Levels Low
