Unboxing and Setup

  1. Remove the printer from the box and packaging.
  2. Place the printer on a flat, stable surface.
  3. Connect the power cord to the printer and a power outlet.
  4. Press the power button on the front panel.

Ink Cartridge Installation

  1. Open the scanner cover.
  2. Push the lock lever for the ink cartridge holder inward and lift it open.
  3. Remove the protective caps from the new ink cartridges.
  4. Insert the black cartridge into the left slot and the color cartridge into the right slot.
  5. Push down on the cartridges until they click into place.
  6. Close the ink cartridge holder and scanner cover.

Software Installation

  1. Insert the setup CD into your computer’s CD-ROM drive.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer software.
  3. When prompted, connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable.

Network Configuration (Optional)

Wi-Fi:
1. Open the Control Panel on your computer.
2. Click on “Network and Internet” and then “Network and Sharing Center.”
3. Click on “Set up a new connection or network.”
4. Select “Manually connect to a wireless network.”
5. Enter the network name (SSID) and password.

Ethernet:
1. Connect an Ethernet cable from the printer to your router.
2. The printer will automatically obtain an IP address from your network.

Printer Not Printing:
* Check if the printer is turned on and connected to power.
* Ensure that the ink cartridges are installed correctly.
* Clean the printhead using the printer’s self-cleaning function.

Paper Jams:
* Gently pull out any jammed paper from the paper tray or output tray.
* Check for any torn or folded pieces of paper.
* Ensure that the paper is loaded correctly in the paper tray.

Network Connectivity Problems:
* Ensure that the printer and your computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network or Ethernet LAN.
* Verify that the network name and password are correct.
* Try restarting the printer and router.

Print Quality Issues:
* Adjust the print quality settings in the printer software.
* Clean the printhead using the printer’s self-cleaning function.
* Replace the ink cartridges if they are low on ink.
