Unboxing and Setup

  1. Remove the packaging and dispose of it properly.
  2. Place the printer on a stable and level surface.
  3. Open the ink cartridge bay and remove the protective tape from the cartridges.
  4. Insert the cartridges into their designated slots until they click into place.
  5. Close the cartridge bay.
  6. Connect the power cord to the printer and a power outlet.
  7. Turn on the printer using the power button.

Software Installation

  1. Insert the included software CD into your computer’s CD-ROM drive.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.

Wi-Fi Connection (Optional)

Wi-Fi Direct:

  1. Press the Wi-Fi button on the printer to activate Wi-Fi Direct.
  2. On your computer or mobile device, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the printer’s network (e.g., Epson-XXXXXXXX).
  3. Open a web browser and enter the printer’s IP address (e.g., 192.168.1.10) in the address bar.
  4. Click on “Wi-Fi Settings” and follow the prompts to complete the Wi-Fi setup.

Wi-Fi Network:

  1. Press the Wi-Fi button on the printer for 3 seconds.
  2. Press the WPS button on your router.
  3. Wait for the printer to connect to the network.
  4. Once the connection is established, the Wi-Fi indicator on the printer will turn solid blue.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Printer won’t turn on:

Cartridge not recognized:

  • Remove and reinstall the cartridge.

Paper jam:

Print quality issues:

  • Check if the ink cartridges are full.
  • Clean the print head:

    1. Load a plain sheet of paper into the printer.
    2. From the printer’s control panel, navigate to “Maintenance” > “Align Print Head.”

Wi-Fi connection problems:

  • Check if the printer and your device are on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Reset the printer’s Wi-Fi settings:
    1. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button for 10 seconds.
    2. The printer will return to factory default settings and the Wi-Fi indicator will turn off.
    3. Repeat the Wi-Fi connection steps outlined above.
