Epson Stylus Photo R390 Setup Guide

Materials Required:

  • Epson Stylus Photo R390 printer
  • Ink cartridges (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow)
  • Paper
  • USB cable
  • Optional: Wi-Fi adapter (for wireless printing)

Step 1: Unpack and Install the Printer

  • Remove the printer from the box and remove all protective packaging.
  • Place the printer on a stable, level surface.
  • Lift the scanner cover and remove the packing material inside.

Step 2: Install the Ink Cartridges

  • Open the ink cartridge cover on the right side of the printer.

Step 5: Install the Printer Driver

  • Insert the software CD that came with the printer.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer driver.
  • Select your connection method (USB or Wi-Fi) during the installation process.

Step 6: Test the Printer

  • Once the driver is installed, open a document or image on your computer.
  • Select “Print” from the file menu.
  • Choose your printer from the list of available printers.
  • Click “OK” or “Print” to start printing.

  • Check if the cartridges are inserted correctly and securely.

Paper Jams:

  • Gently pull the jammed paper out of the printer.
  • Check for any torn pieces of paper and remove them carefully.
