Unboxing and Setup

Materials:

  • HP DeskJet f2250 printer
  • Power cord
  • USB cable
  • Ink cartridges (black and tri-color)

Steps:

  1. Unpack the printer and remove all packaging materials.
  2. Place the printer on a flat and stable surface.
  3. Insert the power cord into the printer and a power outlet.
  4. Slide the paper tray open by pressing the tab on the left side.
  5. Load paper into the tray up to the paper guide.
  6. Close the paper tray and push it back into the printer.
  7. Open the front access door.
  8. Remove the orange protective tape from the ink cartridges.
  9. Insert the black ink cartridge into the left slot and the tri-color cartridge into the right slot.
  10. Close the front access door.

Software Installation

Windows:

  1. Insert the HP software CD into your computer’s CD/DVD drive.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
  3. When prompted, connect the printer to your computer using the USB cable.

Mac:

  1. Connect the printer to your Mac using the USB cable.
