Setting Up Your HP Envy 4500 E-All-in-One
Unboxing and Initial Setup
- Unbox the printer: Carefully remove the printer from the box and remove all packaging materials.
- Connect the power cable: Insert the power cable into the back of the printer and the other end into a power outlet.
- Install the ink cartridges: Open the ink cartridge access door and remove the orange protective caps. Insert the black cartridge into the left slot and the tri-color cartridge into the right slot.

- Configure the printer: Open a web browser and navigate to the address http://192.168.223.1. Enter the default password “admin” when prompted. Select the “Wireless” tab and follow the instructions to connect to your home Wi-Fi network.

- Ensure that the printer is powered on and the ink cartridges are properly installed.
- Check if the print queue is paused or has any pending jobs.
