Detailed Guide to Setting Up the HP LaserJet Pro MFP m130a

Unpacking and Setup

  1. Remove the printer from the box and remove all packaging materials.
  2. Place the printer on a flat, stable surface.
  3. Connect the power cord to the printer and a power outlet.
  4. Turn on the printer by pressing the power button.

Installing Toner Cartridge

  1. Open the front cover of the printer.
  2. Remove the imaging drum unit from the printer.

  8. On the printer, select the “Wireless” menu and then “Wi-Fi Setup Wizard”.
  9. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the wireless setup.

Installing Printer Software

  1. Insert the provided HP software CD-ROM into your computer.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the printer software.
