Setting Up the HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile All-in-One

Materials Required:

  • HP OfficeJet 250 Mobile All-in-One printer
  • Power cord
  • USB cable (optional)
  • Ink cartridges

Step 1: Unpack and Inspect

Carefully unpack the printer and remove all packaging materials. Inspect the printer for any damage or defects.

Step 2: Install Ink Cartridges

  • From your mobile device or computer, connect to the “DIRECT-[printer name]” Wi-Fi network.
  • Open a browser and go to 192.168.223.1.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to input your Wi-Fi network name and password.

Step 8: Install HP Smart App (Mobile Printing)

  • Download the HP Smart app on your mobile device from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
  • Open the app and follow the prompts to connect your printer.

Troubleshooting Common Issues:

Printer Won’t Turn On:

  • Check if the power cord is securely connected to the printer and the outlet.
  • Try resetting the printer by unplugging it for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.

Paper Jam:

  • Open the printer’s cover and carefully remove any jammed paper.
  • Ensure that the paper is loaded correctly and the paper tray is not overloaded.

Poor Print Quality:

  • Check the ink levels and replace any empty cartridges.
