Step 1: Unpack and Prepare

  • The printer will print a test page.

  • Insert the USB cable into the printer’s USB port and a USB port on your computer.
  • The printer will be automatically detected by Windows or macOS.

Wireless Connection:

  • Go to the printer’s control panel and select “Setup” > “Network” > “Wireless Setup Wizard.”
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi network.
  • Once connected, run the HP Smart app on your computer to complete the setup.
