Setting Up the HP PhotoSmart C6183 All-in-One Printer

Materials:

  • HP PhotoSmart C6183 printer
  • Power cord
  • USB cable (optional)
  • Paper
  • HP ink cartridges (black, cyan, magenta, yellow)
  • Software CD

Step 1: Unpack and Position the Printer

  • Remove the printer from the box and remove all protective materials.
  • Place the printer on a flat, stable surface with ample ventilation.

Step 2: Install Ink Cartridges

  • Open the printer’s front door.
  • Remove the orange protective covers from the ink cartridges.
  • Insert each cartridge into its corresponding color-coded slot.
