Detailed Guide to Setting Up the Canon BJC-85 Printer
Step 1: Unbox and Prepare
- Remove the printer from the box and unwrap all packaging.
- Place the printer on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation.

- The printer will print a test page with sample text and images to verify its functionality.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Printer Not Printing
- Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to your computer.
- Check the USB cable and ensure it’s securely connected.
- Try restarting the printer by turning it off and on again.
- Reinstall the printer drivers and software.
Ink Cartridge Not Recognized
- Remove and reinsert the ink cartridge firmly.
- Clean the electrical contacts on the ink cartridge and the printer holder with a lint-free cloth.
- Replace the ink cartridge with a new one.
Paper Jams
- Open the front and rear covers of the printer and remove the jammed paper gently.
- Check for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them.
- Load a new sheet of paper into the printer and try printing again.
Print Quality Issues
- Check the ink levels in the cartridges and replace any empty or low ones.

- Calibrate the printer by printing a test page and adjusting the alignment as necessary.
