Setting Up the HP PhotoSmart c7280 All-in-One Printer
Step 1: Unbox and Prepare the Printer
- Remove the printer from its box and remove all packaging materials.
- Place the printer on a flat, stable surface with ample space around it.

- Connect the USB cable from the printer to your computer’s USB port.
- The printer will be automatically detected and installed.
Step 4: Install Software
- Insert the HP software CD into your computer.
- Run the installation wizard and follow the on-screen prompts.
- If you don’t have the CD, download the software from the HP website.
Step 5: Load Paper
- Open the paper tray.
- Adjust the paper guides to the width of the paper you are using.
- Load paper into the tray and adjust the guides to fit snugly.
- Close the paper tray.

- Calibrate the printer by printing an alignment page from the control panel.
